Beat the Box

Game Rules:

• The game uses a standard deck of 52 cards.
• Cards are arranged in a 3x3 grid with the remaining deck on the side.
• IMPORTANT: Aces are LOW (value of 1).
• Select a card from the grid, then guess if the next card from the deck will be higher or lower.
• If your guess is correct, the new card replaces the selected card, and you continue.
• If your guess is wrong, that position becomes blocked (card turns face-down).
• If the drawn card has the same value as your selected card, you must correctly guess the suit to continue.

How to Win:

Successfully go through the entire deck by making correct guesses.

How to Lose:

If all positions in the grid become blocked (all cards face-down), you lose the game.

Controls:

• Card Selection: Click on any face-up card in the grid.
• Higher/Lower Buttons: Make your guess after selecting a card.
• Suit Buttons: Appear when drawn card matches your selected card's value.
• Menu Button: Access game settings and start a new game.
